Potjiekos Competitions
Each team get a Mystery Box with different utensils, herbs, and spices. All the meat is halaal from the Laudium Halaal Butchery in Pretoria, or the Forsmay Muslim Butchery in Fordsburg, Johannesburg.

Teams then have to swop and trade meat, utensils, herbs, and spices to cook a potjie that represents a country. For example, the one team may have all the spices, and the other team may have all the veggies, while the third team has the oil. This swopping and trading of goodies makes our Potjiekos Competition and interactive team building event.

The Potjiekos are served with pap, gravy, assorted rolls and salads. Chrome plastic cutlery, crockery and paper plates are available for our halaal delegates.

Judging the Potjiekos Competitions is easy. Each team select a judge, and each judge select a different criteria, for example taste, presentation, team spirit, theme, etc. The points are tellied, and we will crown the new BraaiMaster Potjiekos Champions.

Potjiekos Team Building Quotes
We require at least four teams of about ten people (at least fourth people or more) for a Potjiekos Competition, but it is possible to have a Potjiekos Competition for less people. Our Potjiekos Competitions can be an indoor team building activity with our gas burners, or as an outdoor team building activity with charcoal. Allow about three hours for a Potjiekos Competition.
